1977: The Beginning
Foundation and Early GrowthBhavan's Rajaji Vidyashram, a co-educational school started in the year 1977 and run by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, is situated at Kilpauk. From a modest beginning, the school has grown into a prestigious institution in the city of Chennai. The premises where the school is presently located was donated by Shri V. Pattabiraman.
Expansion Years
Classes and StrengthThe Vidyashram has classes from LKG to Class 12 with a strength of around 3300 and is affiliated to the CBSE, New Delhi. Academically, the Vidyashram is doing extremely well and has continuously achieved excellent results in both Classes 10 and 12.
