The School provides an atmosphere conducive to preserving and reviving Indian culture, offering Quality, Education, taking into consideration the aspirations and needs of the student community.   HOUSE SYSTEM

 

Progress and proficiency is ensured through the house system by which students participate in all curricular and co-curricular activities in a healthy spirit of competition. The house - Bhishma, Karna, Arjuna and Abhimanyu function under the guidance of House Teachers with active involvement of house captains.

 

  TESTS, EXAMINATION & PROMOTIONS

 


Promotions to the next higher class is based on the childs performance during the academic year. A record of internal assessment is maintained for this purpose. Parents are therefore requested to inculcate regulated study habits in their wards with careful supervision throughout the year.

Reports of the terminal examinations are given three times a year. Parents are requested to collect the reports on specified dates and return them the following day after careful scrutiny. They must encourage further achievement in areas where they are strong and take remedial measures when advised by the teachers.

 

  ATTENDANCE

 


Students must not absent themselves from school without prior written permission. Any leave application for duration of more than 3 days on medical grounds should be accompanied by a medical certificate.

Names of students absenting themselves for more than ten days without prior permission will be struck off from the register. They may be readmitted after the payment of prescribed fees.

  SCHOLARSHIPS AND AWARDS

 


The school has instituted scholarships and awards for economically backward and meritorious students. Prizes and citations are awarded in recognition of talent in scholastic, artistic and sports activities.
